Thank you for your support in all we are trying to achieve.
As the last week of the half term approaches, it is full steam ahead at Clockhouse!
EYFS
The children in Nursery and Reception are very excited about welcoming the Zoo to Clockhouse on Friday. This is to support their current learning. If you have any concerns please speak to your child's class teacher.
Reception
We look forward to welcoming our Reception parents for Learn with my Child on Monday and Wednesday. Please speak to class teachers about which day you should come if you are not sure. Please come for as little or as much as you can. As with the other year groups, regrettably we are unable to accommodate younger siblings at these events.
Year 5
We look forward to welcoming our Year 5 parents / carers on Tuesday for Learn with my Child at 9.10am - 10.30am. Please come for as little or as much as you can. As with the other year groups, regrettably we are unable to accommodate younger siblings at these events.
Following the success of the last initiative, please be aware that a small selection of our Year 5 children will be working with the police on Friday afternoon to educate drivers about the speed they go down Clockhouse Lane.
Year 6
Please remember that Year 6 are off to Gunpowder Mill on Thursday, please ensure consent forms and your voluntary contribution are returned first thing on Monday if you have not done so already.
Parents' Evening
Do not forget that on Wednesday and Thursday of this week it is Parents' Evening after school. Teachers have been busy making appointments for everyone, so if, as yet, you do not have an appointment please contact your child's class teacher on Monday to make arrangements for a meeting. As you know, we are offering a blended approach, so if you have not done so already, please do tell the teachers if you want a Zoom or face to face meeting.
Please do allow your children to be part of the meeting so that they also know how they are doing and what they need to work on. The importance of the co-education of your child cannot be overstated
Special Dinner Day
There is a Special Dinner Day on Friday. The menu was sent out last week.
Is your child, or a child you know due to start Nursery in September 2025
We are looking forward to welcoming prospective parents / carers into school on Tuesday 10.00am. Please call the school to book this or a tour later in the term.

OCA (Our Clockhouse Association) Sweet Stall
OCA will be holding a Sweet Stall event after school on Friday. Look out for the stalls around the site on Thursday after school. Sweet bags are £1.00. Please do support them.
